Texas sheet cake
Ingredients:
- One mix of chocolate cake
- Three eggs
- One cup canola oil
- One cup water
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- One-teaspoon vanilla extract
- half a teaspoon salt
- one cup chopped pecans
- One cup of chocolate-covered chips
- One-half cup unsalted butter
Instructions:
- Set oven temperature to 350 degrees.
- Combine the cake mix, water, oil, eggs, buttermilk, sugar, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and salt in a big basin. Blend thoroughly.
- Transfer mixture to a 13 x 18-inch baking sheet that has been buttered.
- When a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, bake for 20 minutes.
- Melt the butter and chocolate chips in a skillet over low heat while the cake bakes.
- Take the cake out of the oven and cover it with the chocolate mixture.
- Cover the top of the cake with the chopped pecans.
- Allow cake to cool fully before cutting and serving.
