Energy bites
Ingredients:
- One cup of rolled oats
- Half a cup of peanut butter (or any other kind of nut or seed butter)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- One-fourth cup of dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup of chopped nuts, like pecans, walnuts, or almonds
- One tsp vanilla essence
- A dash of salt
Instructions:
- Rolling oats, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, chopped nuts, dark chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and a dash of salt should all be combined in a big mixing bowl.
- Stirring constantly, the ingredients should come together to form a thick, sticky mixture.
- Roll the mixture into tiny, bite-sized balls using your palms.
- To firm up, place the energy bites on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least half an hour.
- After refrigerated, move the energy bites to a sealed container and keep them in the fridge for a maximum of seven days.
